First and foremost, thank you for taking the time to visit threelovelies.com. I hope you enjoy it as much as I've loved bringing it to life! Now just a little bit about me...
I was fortunate enough to start my marketing career in NYC working at fabulous magazines including In Style, Food & Wine, Teen People, Sports Illustrated for Kids, Parenting and Babytalk. My primary responsibilities included managing their events, promotions and client entertaining, as well as sourcing all client gifts (translation... paid to shop!). I quickly developed a passion – some might say an obsession – for attending gift shows and local craft fairs, building relationships with independent designers and finding creative ways to work together. Although attending these shows was part of my "day job", I loved every minute of it!
While at Parenting and Babytalk magazines I had my quintessential "ah–ha" moment. Being firmly immersed in "mom culture", it became very clear to me that there was a significant void in the online world for a convenient shopping destination that catered to a new mother's two sides – the side that desires items for her role as mommy and the side that wants to celebrate the woman behind the mom. The concept of placing these two shopping priorities under one e–commerce roof would not only celebrate a woman's many roles, but also help manage her most precious commodity – time. And, with that, threelovelies.com was born!
With the support and inspiration from my mom, Holly, and sister, Blair (the other two lovelies!), I hope to bring shopping savvy women (and babies!) the latest "must–haves" through a convenient and fun shopping experience. I'm looking forward to growing a business – and community – that celebrates all of the roles that every woman embraces.
